About the course

Our intensive courses are designed for students who want to take a qualitative leap in their English in a concentrated period of time or need to prepare for a specific situation.
There’s no single format: the duration, schedule, structure and content are organised around your needs and availability. The training can last a few hours, a single day or a full weekend, depending on the goal you want to reach.
Classes are 100% tailored, in methodology and content, and 100% speaking-based. We combine Business English and general English and work on real situations so you practise exactly what you need.

The programme
What can you expect from this programme?
The programme can focus on preparing for conferences, speeches and presentations, job interviews, meetings, negotiations, conversations with clients and suppliers, business trips or any other specific situation. We also work on the general English you need to handle everyday life naturally.
We work in a practical way on the vocabulary, expressions, structures, pronunciation and communication strategies for those situations.
The aim is to give you the language and communication tools to professionalise your English and use the language naturally, step out of your comfort zone and gain the fluency, confidence and assurance you need.

Saturday lunch with the teacher is part of the immersion experience: you keep using English in a more informal, natural context, taking what you worked on in class into a real communication situation.

How are the classes structured?
Intensive training designed entirely around you.
Before starting we analyse your level, goals and specific needs. With that information we design the content and learning plans to make the most of the training hours and focus the work on what you really need.
Sessions are 100% speaking-based and combine Business English and general English: conversations, practical simulations and real situations. As it’s an intensive course, we can work on an immediate need: a conference, a speech, a job interview, a meeting or a business trip.
Throughout the programme, the teacher provides continuous correction and individual feedback, identifies what needs more reinforcement and gives you the tools to professionalise your English and make it sound natural.
Grammatical accuracy
The structures you need, in a practical, oral way, applied to your situations.
Vocabulary and expressions
Business English and general English, with the terminology of your sector, profession or goals.

FUNDAE-subsidised training
Our courses are eligible for FUNDAE subsidies in Spain, so your company can use its available credit to train its employees.
We are registered to deliver company-organised training (formación programada por las empresas), in person and online, and we provide the documentation you need. How the subsidy works.
Cancellation policy
We understand that schedule changes or unexpected events can happen. That’s why classes can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 working hours’ notice.
Classes cancelled with less than 24 working hours’ notice are charged and cannot be made up.

Who is this course for?
For anyone who wants to take a leap in their English in a short time or prepare for a specific situation and doesn’t have time for classes during the week.
How many hours does it last?
The weekend format adds up to 14 hours of immersion: 2 hours on Friday, 8 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday, with breaks and Saturday lunch with the teacher. We can also organise intensive courses of a few hours or a single day.
Can I prepare for something specific, like an interview or a presentation?
Yes. It’s one of the most common uses: conferences, speeches, presentations, job interviews, meetings, negotiations or business trips.
Is it one to one or in a group?
Both: one to one or in groups of up to 4 students.
What level is it for?
Any level: the programme is designed based on a level test and your goals.
Where does it take place?
In person, at our school at C/ Orense 25, 3.º C, Esc. Izq., Madrid.
What happens if I have to cancel?
You can cancel or change it free of charge with at least 24 working hours’ notice. With less notice, it is charged and cannot be made up.
